"Well, I just have to say that it was the most docile flying machine I had ever flown, including fixed and rotor wing. It was also the easiest machine to fly. Why? Because it was designed and built RIGHT!!"

Fred Perdue recently built this LW-3 and keeps it at Mountain Empire Airport, VA. The gyro is powered by a Rotax 503 and spins a 3-bladed Powerfin prop. The rotor head is a Bensen and the rotorblades are by Rotordyne.

The decal on the side is from a 1930's Pitcairn Co., forerunner of Eastern Airlines.

Fred will send in performance figures after the test flights are conducted.
