"Well, I just have to say that it was the most docile flying machine I had ever flown, including fixed and rotor wing. It was also the easiest machine to fly. Why? Because it was designed and built RIGHT!!"

Bensen "T" tail assembly

Little Wing Autogyros offers a bolt-on modification for the standard Bensen "Gyrocopter" (also adaptable to the Snowbird gyros and others using 2x2 square tubing for a keel structure) that will give the machines much increased longitudinal stability. This is a 4130 steel tube horizontal stabilizer, vertical fin and rudder assembly covered with dacron fabric. The addition of an effective horizontal tail, mounted in the center of the propeller blast is the key to its pitch stabilizing feature. The entire assembly weighs only 12 pounds, thus there is no change in weight distribution from an original tail assembly. No modifications are required for a standard, stock Bensen Gyrocopter. The units come complete with fabric installed /primed and with necessary mounting hardware.
